Sorry to hear about not making your goal at the Bake sale–I made sure to come out and support. I bought about $18 worth of stuff I didn’t need but it all tasted soooo good LOL.

If you haven’t read “Like Water for Chocolate,” do it as soon as possible. I’m sure you will see yourself and the amazing way food touches our lives in a whole new way. My own mother died last May 4, and I can’t cook any of her old standby recipes without wiping a tear from my eye.

Thanks, Hershel! I appreciate you sharing. I think I was fairly numb through his illness and passing, so it seems to have gotten harder a little while later. But you’re right, time will heal. Thanks for your prayers.
